The SDG Centre is expanding and moving to its new home at the KL City Gallery—the first SDG Centre in Asia Pacific! In partnership with URBANICE MALAYSIA and DBKL, this marks a significant step towards a sustainable future for Kuala Lumpur. The need to expand the functions and space of the Kuala Lumpur SDG Centre is crucial in completing the SDG Centre ecosystem and localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through various activities in the larger KLCG space. Today, the Pre-Launch Ceremony of the new SDG Centre Kuala Lumpur building was officiated by YB Dr. Zaliha binti Mustafa, The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), accompanied by Datuk Seri PMgr Sr Haji Kamarulzaman Bin Mat Salleh, the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur. The building, formerly the KL City Gallery, will be open to the public once restoration work is completed according to national heritage building guidelines. This move highlights Kuala Lumpur’s unwavering commitment to becoming a global sustainable city.
