During the side-event on #APFSD, our CEO, Norliza Hashim, shared the valuable lessons learned from the Asia-Pacific Urban Forum (APUF) voluntary commitment in Penang with Suwon, Korea, the next host city. In addition to discussing important topics such as the climate crisis and social and economic challenges, Norliza highlighted the significance of urban and territorial planning and digital inclusion in promoting sustainable and inclusive cities.
One of the most notable achievements from #APUF was the establishment of the Penang Platform for Sustainable Urbanization #ppsu, a partnership of 16 organizations committed to working towards sustainable urban development. With a focus on inclusive and participatory approaches, the platform aims to promote sustainable urbanization in the Asia-Pacific region.
